Before I got eye surgery I used to think pelicans where surfers, shows how blind I was. I like watching em flying low over the water, so graceful.

Coincidence? Well that depends? Was yours a southern ball throated hummer or a Northern pucker breasted hummer?

I also got a tufted titmouse and a bushtit, thankgod for spring and the arousal of the tits! Now Im on the look out for a nice little sapsucker.

C, dont feed them the 'nectar' from the stores, that crap has additivies that are not good for the birds. Three parts water to one part suger and you dont need to add red dye.

next time we should stash a cooler up the top of mt tabor and reward ourselves with a brew each lap. when the beer is half finished we'll remove our brakes and stop piking it, like we did last night.
