What stoketh thee...

This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. If you're a baby, complainer, or generally think you're right and everyone else is wrong this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE, all forum rules still apply, but just a little more liberally enforced. Registration is required.

I was just about to write that same thing. There are plenty of places to find teenage porn on the net--I'm glad that stokes you (sarcastically written).

Temperance wrote and then deleted something to the effect of:
"Is that chick gonna be at the party?"

we can only hope...

Interesting response, Stiffler.

Come on, Nance, let's walk off in a huff.

I'm stoked about being back in the PNW after a week in the Redneck Riviera down on the Gulf of Mexico.

The fact that after today I never have to sit in this f*cking desk in this f&cking rats nest of an office. The fact that I'll never have to look at my arrogant pig headed c(_)nt of a boss again. The fact that I told them to shut it and I quit.

THat stokes me.

I'm stoked because, ten days out from an upcomming surf trip, a buddy has decided to join me. He and another friend committed then flaked out earlier, so I resigned myself to traveling alone. Traveling alone in a place where you don't speak the language is always an interesting and some times a challenging experience. A travel partner will bring someone to share a sence of humor throughout the long four day journey that it will take to get to some of the best left point breaks in the world. Plus, it's way more fun to charge surf with a buddy, huh?

Yap, North Coast of Peru. Pacasamayo to be exact, where a short wave is only 400 meters, longer is a kilometer. An hour south is Chicama, and with a large swell produces a wave with five different perfect barrel sections. There are another couple of other high quality left points in the area that all have very distinct qualities.

I've been very busy the past several months and am now just able to enjoy the anticipation of the upcomming trip.

Spending three days in a secluded part of the desert.

Hiking 1/2 mile into a deep canyon losing around 500 feet in elevation.

Having the 105 degree heat give way to 85 degree lush green oasis, 55 degree water running through the ****** river.

Pulling wild rainbow trout out of the deep eddies and tail-offs.

Releasing them.

Then placing a folding lounge chair in the shallows and watching the birds.

And not seeing another soul all day, save for a friend of mine, my daughter, and her two cousins.

Of course knowing that you people were here or there staring at your computers and posing and posturing while the world passes you by was kind of sweet too.

Trust me, there is no other world out there. Only suring and the OSP. And of course PC.

Outside of that..nothing is worth your time.
