Are you famous?

Yes, this is a surfpage, but many of us like to discuss non-surf related issues amongst fellow surfers. Here's the place to do it. Registration is required.

Are you famous?

Have you ever been in a place and had someone you do not know, recognize you from your OSP persona?

Are you worried that your fifteen minutes are already up, or that they've never arrived?

Of course, everybody recognizes me instantly.

Wouldn't disconcerting be more appropriate?

And if you weren't wearing the clogs from the pumpkin picture, I never would have recognized you.

And if someone hadn't pointed Pete out as that "crazy surfer dude" I never would have recognized him either.

And if Gaz didn't have those long locks, I wouldn't have recognized him, either.

And if you other people hadn't pm-ed me nude photos of you, I wouldn't have recognized you, either.

Yes. Sort of. Maybe?

I was sitting in a bar getting my stew on when a woman walked up to me and started talking to me as if she'd known me for years. I kept staring at her with a blank expression on my face, until I finally interrupted her with the obvious question.....'who the hell are you?'

She answers...... "Very funny Suzanne....."

She thought I was my twin......who she went to school with at OSU.
