Surfing for the 1st time in CA, conditions were better once in the water. Also having to go back this week to pick my truck up, forecast says same conditions but much sunnier and warmer.

This email from my mum stokes me out (she really writes like this). She just fucked herself up training for the London marathon

yeh i knew about the maasai warriers, they were on the news, their shoes are made of tyres.

now then last fri i did my last 20 miler feeling good, so i thought it s all down hill from here. sat went out to do 6 miles, just turned onto mayals rd to cross when i tripped lost my balance and head butted atree went down on my knees and put my hand out.

lady in a car stopped and said i thought for a minute u were going to head but that tree i said i did.she asked if i was o.k. etc i said yes just fel rather foolish. n e way thought i d carry on running, then i thought i d better go back home to access the damage. got back then came out in a sweat , then felt faint and sick. dad said we gotta go to hospital i said no i m o.k. nothing broken i can move my fingers.

lets cut a long story short, ended up in casulty broken my wrist in two places plaster cast to elbow. will tell u the full story when i see u

Finally seeing the ice go away and having temps in the 30s. Nearly 16 hours of daylight so I can get my lazy self out to do something.

Officially down 15 lbs now.

Heading towards 20 lbs by next weekend.

Ate a bunch of grilled asparagus last night to celebrate.

About ran myself out of the bathroom this morning with the pungent asparagus piss.
