Rafting on the White Salmon during the gorge games, a complete aqua zoo.

The first rapids we hit our raft gets stuck on a rock with a ton of water pushing up our backside. The guide literally says "Oh shite!" pause, "everyone on the left side!" We had high centered on the rock and could've dumped the whole raft right there. His command was spot on and we slid over the left side and continued on as if nothing happened.

After we assumed our original positions on the raft, we all looked at the guide...he started to laugh and said "That could've been really bad! still want to go rafting?"

couldn't asked for a better start!
