Took Fish to the coast yesterday. Bad mistake. It was a never-ending monologue about how much Philly sucks, Jewish slang, cheese steaks and so on. Fortunately, the cold water made me piss alot and I was able to unload a bootful of urine into his filthy mouth after surfing...

jeez, I guess I missed the meo too. Actually, I think it got sent to me too early. We have a one to four day window.... anything earlier or later we're too absorbed to deal with at the moment. It's not a good thing.

Finding out all the crazy rumors floating around work the last few months had some basis in truth.

In 60 days ~1500 people tied to my company will be flooding the job and real estate markets. Anyone need a Electronics guy or a house near Eugene?

That does suck. Pretty sure all we need here are gas station attendants and telemarketers who can afford cali-sized rents on minimum wage. It's the new amerika.

Cant say I've seen all that much evidence of the resession here in PDX. More new bulidings being finished, new resturants opening in my hood left and right, and people out almost every night eating and drinking (not me thou). I know PDX was hit hard durring the tech fallout/dot commy bust of the late 90's, but things seem to be moving and grovin here. Could be everyones happy summers finnaly here? Who knows, but I'm quite suprised by my observations.

Things might seem fine in affluent neighborhoods but believe me, there are plenty of people suffering from the economy in Portland. We are seeing a significant increase in kids on the streets in the last couple of months.

Most likely i'll be joing you heads up N. unless I get a call from the garden isle. I'm an equip. guy but jobs are easily acquired if you have the exp. Our HR department has created the mother of all job fairs, 40-50 employers and pretty much all the semi biz in the country has a booth reserved. PDX is fairly strong for tech still, I thinking solar for stability. Anyting but another Asian company.

Dirty fukking spangers taking over downtown eugene and harassing me for spare change or drugs, calling me names because I don't wear the sh1tstained black with spikes everywhere attire they favor and don;t have 37 piercings and jailhouse tats on my neck, making me want to throw false cracks at every one of these skidmarks everytime I walk from the bus to my office, dodging piles of sh1t from their malnourished dogs, and trying not to get high from the second hand smoke from their ditch weed (I have the bombay, why do I want to be forced to inhale your grade D crap?) that they all sit and smoke in public because the cops can't do sh1t since the jails are underfunded and overfilled. GET A HOBBY JACKAZZES! FIND SOMETHING TO DO BESIDES SITTING AROUND SELLING DRUGS TO TEENAGERS!

These guys cant be moved because everyone is too damm worried about their rights. What about my rights to work downtown without being hasseld by these lazy, stupid pieces of sh1t? Then I see some of them have actually reproduced and I feel super bummed when I see a 3 or 4 year old (or worse a baby) sitting amongst the dirty, lazy chainsmoking idiots with zero chance of ever atttaining anything more than being a nuisance to society. Or what about the young runaway teen girls who show up and are preyed on by dirty old fuhks 3 times their age who feed them drugs and alcohol, sometimes in plain view of my office window. It's nauseating. Damm this town sucks. I CANT WAIT TO MOVE!
