I like how on the bus, some one is always willing to give up their seat when it's packed to someone older then them. It's not generational either. It's an even distribution of age with respect to kindness and I think that's pretty cool also.

perhaps the younger generations in the herd have begun to push and shove due to the recent removal of that whipper-snappers head. more predators at the water-hole these days.... "here ya go daddy-o i've been keeping your favorite seat warm for ya."

What whipper snapper had their head removed? More predators at the watering hole? "here ya go daddy-o i've been keeping your favorite seat warm for ya," I didn't say it was a NAMBLA conference on there.

Ahh yes, the saloon. It was my favorite sh1thole bar in North County (after the Leucadian ....of course!). I actually got thrown out of there few times over the years for random alcohol driven infractions.
Edit:
Dub,
-Leucadia Donut Shop (unmatched morning sugar fix)
-Pipes (ask for Dana and tell her you are my good friend)
-La Especial Norte (classic Mexi)
-Saimese Basil (grinds Thai)
-Kealanis (loco moco brah)
-Karinas (the best carne asada)
-The Beach House happy hour (epic people watching and good drink/food deals)
ill add more if it comes to me....
humbled!

Being able to investigate possibilities at winter spots in the sunshine, before committing to them in the rain, wind and horror that will surely come this fall.
Hiking to one of these spots to find a surfer out, in flat water, using his surfboard instead as a platform by which to handle crab pots. Watching him paddle board as he waited for the big catch.

Monster skate sesh at Battleground this morning, with some 14 yr old kids from Philly that I'm playing tour guide to. "So Pete who is your favourite band?" "Fugazi." "Who?" Oh sh*t this is going to be a long drive...
Turned out pretty sick though. Picked up SmithG. Holmes boosted a session killing three air combo in the deepend. I scraped a few sh*tty backside airs and then flipped around with the urchins.
Now they want me to take them "skim-boarding..." First they have to put some proper wheels on their skateboards and drop into the f*ckin bowl and then we'll talk about "Skim-boarding."

Yes, the BG skate sesh kept my stoke throwing after yesterday's SS evening sesh.
My fave moment was watching FP and the runts in a heated competition to see who could land a 360 kickmynuts flip ? Hell, I'm way too ancient to comprehend the names of all these new tricks...
I need to skate more and surf less..
