This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. Already have during the VP debate. The rule was anytime Maverick was said then a few gulps were in order.

Nice we did something similar.

As much as I like those strong dark ales, been grooving on the Hop Harvest Ales after all its Fall. Mostly IPAs brewed within hours of the hops being picked. Belmont Station, now on Stark, has 4 or 5 of them on tap right now. http://www.oregonsurf.com/phpBB2/viewto ... 136#143136

Keep Portland beerd.

I thought I was losing interest in surfing, but as of late seeing the numbers and directions and LC cam change I'm realizing that I was just bummed about summer. Now I wake up early with surfing as the first thought on my mind and then I can't go back to sleep even if I can't go out. I feel restless and love it. I love the gray and darkness and beaches that are crowdless. I love Oregon in the fall.

Seeing three does in a maelstrom of weather on a tall ridge outside of the 'Mook.

Missing a monster buck last year on the last day of the season, and knowing he is still out there.

Sitting on my upper deck tending to a tri-tip roasting on the grill while the sweet smell of teryaki salmon smoking below wafts up on a cool Fall breeze.

And most of the leaves from that big tree landed in my neighbor's yard.
