What stoketh thee...

This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. If you're a baby, complainer, or generally think you're right and everyone else is wrong this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE, all forum rules still apply, but just a little more liberally enforced. Registration is required.

I hope to find God somewhere on a turnpike if Im lucky....

Sounds exactly like the vacation I am flying home from tomorrow. We did not hit NYC though. We did however go to Lancaster County (Amish) and had some aweome food and grabbed some great souveneirs (sp?) and headed to Hershey. Traffic is horrible here but the leaves are really changing now at least.

Saw the Atlantic for the first time Saturday. Warm and waveless only ripples so it made to sense that there was a surfshop right there. First shop though where all the boards are along the ceiling more like a Hollister really.

caught some great waves for the first time in 6 pitiful months. after a variable garden basket of injuries and loserdom just sitting in the ocean felt good.

listening at full volume several times on the drive home after a really good session...

wish I was ocean size
they cannot move you
no one tries no one pulls you
out from your hole
like a tooth aching a jawbone...

i was made with a heart of stone
to be broken
with one hard blow
i've seen the ocean
break on the shore
come together with no harm done...

it ain't easy living...

i want to be
as deep
as the ocean
mother ocean

some people tell me
home is in the sky
in the sky lives a spy
i want to be more like the ocean
no talking
all action...
no talking
all action

Fugg yeah, required pre-sess listening. Other than that nothing to be stoked about lately.

watching 5 or more whales coming up to the surface to breathe less than 100 yards away from the lineup from the bluff after getting out last weekend

and

watching a crowded sea lion lineup in clear water from hundreds of feet above on =wednesday=
seeing them get long rides down the line both in and on the wave
getting little airs as they kick out the back
they were stoked and getting great conditions and waves
