What pisses me off...........

This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. If you're a baby, complainer, or generally think you're right and everyone else is wrong this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE, all forum rules still apply, but just a little more liberally enforced. Registration is required.

Nice.

Fact of the matter is we do not get south swells. Last June was a 10 year anomoly. Maybe you have a better chance in your neck of the woods, but you will still have to drive. Best thing to do is just get over it. If one does show, you'll hear about it and then go. But never count on it.

i remember chasing my dreams like there was nothing stopping me. now it's all "keep dreaming, but give up" & "look at the baby, look at the baby" & stop f'ing telling me we are out of f'ing diapers at 10pm. Tell me we need f'ing s*** before we f'ing need it!
Her parents live next door. we thought it would be a good idea because they watch the kids while we work (and we pay them 400 bucks a month to do so compared to 1000+ for a stranger to do it). F*** i'm sick of her irritating mother. Stay the F*** away from my place you are NOT welcome here every other freaking night for an hour and NO I D NOT give a s*** what you think I should do with whatever I am doing. And by the way, I dont f'ing care that you have begged me not to move away with your daughter. We are adults, with lives. And if we decide to move to another state we f'ing will. Just becuase your life is based around some back problem and you spend your life moping around does NOT mean we feel sorry for your a**.

Some days I want to move as far away as possible, and sometimes I think about doing it alone.

Blue - Here's your getaway surf shack for $55,000, one half block to the beach. I'll even bring you some joe in the morning at Ponto or Grandview, your choice..

Boardriding is about timing and style...It’s youthful, active, casual, and free flowing. There is no wrong way to ride a board. The goal is simply to learn, progress, improve, and give it your own interpretation.

You're probably right, local spots been performing well lately anyways, no complaints but a southie or anything above 8 secs would sure hit the spot.

The skills are not so perishable, it's your muscle mass, stamina, confidence and ability to withstand cold water.

Portland didn't make Surfer Mags top 10 surf towns. WTF! With all the surf movies, parties, blogs, shops, and bros with fat quivers you'd think it would.

Going to a hamber place in PC and having to spend 75 cents for a thimble full of ranch for my fries, and then having to pay 50 cents more for an extra plate so my sons can split a burger. Also having to ask for a knife to split the burger, maybe they thought we would just rip it in half. Never again Fat Freddy.
Work less, surf more.
