What pisses me off...........

This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. If you're a baby, complainer, or generally think you're right and everyone else is wrong this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE, all forum rules still apply, but just a little more liberally enforced. Registration is required.

Actually had a pretty fun sesh up here. Started slowish and then all the sudden got a little window of fun-ness. Noting international about it thou. Straight up Oregon in June. Cold, fickle, and crowded.

BOYS!

Stupid stupid stupid. I get a real job and now he never calls anymore. Maybe it is to much of a hit to his ego that I actually have one and don't live at home and have an actual paper college diploma (3 things he does not have).

Trying to find a halfway intelligent guy seems nearly impossible. What is wrong with the male gender? Sure I don't make 6 figures (give me 4 years and I might just) but holy crow at least I have a job that is stable and has benefits. Not to mention I get to wear a uniform to work or maybe the whole uniform thing is a turn off. I will admit I have a lot more money now that I don't have a stupid boyfriend.

That sh*t's outrageous down here in SD. I cancelled about six months ago and bought a $24 "HD" antenna at Target and I get about 20 HD channels now which is everything I need (Plus about 476 Spanish channels).

Yeah it irritates the shat outta me to pay that much when thwere are only around 10 channels I acctually (and only occasionally) watch out of the 100. When did basic cable go from 30 channels to 100? This is what Comcrap tells me is the new basic cable.

But I only pay 25 bucks a month for cable internet.

Customs is a crappy job, though necessary. Known a lot of guys retire early from it.
One of my SAR trainers you've probably heard of Joel Hardin.
Him and I are in similar lines of work, he's just better and gets paid to teach it.

The pay increases rapidly so most people wait till they hit a GS-11 and leave for another agency. Yeah and it is necessary but gets boring.
