I believe firmly in the constitution, not the government. . . but I have to honestly trust at this point that the checks & balances of it will protect this document.
Why? Not because I'm ignorant or blind. It's because I have an incredibly strong will, a firm belief in America and it's freedoms and a shitload of guns.

The problem is it is not working, bills that blatantly violate the constitution are sailing through the house and senate right now. Cap and trade to control evil CO2, Federalizing "all" water, even rain run-off, Hate speech/cyber bullying, No fly no buy, Attorney general deciding who is a terrorist at his discretion, Giving the FED authority to control 'any' corporate/business interest it wants in the name of protecting the economy(the FED is a private, for profit corporation by the way).

To top it off this stuff is mainly being directed by the WH, whose (supposed)head was a constitutional law professor. Which leads to the following questions: does Obama have a secret plan to bring us all in for a safe landing(this is being parroted by some in the media) , is he being lead astray by connected advisors, is he dumb, is Rahm Emmanual really running the show, or is it just another convenient case of bumbling by the govn?

Every single day I hear people spat garbage about what new "illigal" bills are flying through Legislature. People play them for weeks. 90% of them seem to be false BS. So maybe things are in fact running the way they should and we are all spending WAY too much time beleiving stupid media hype.
As a government employee I have been involved in a lot of things that end up on the nightly news. Rarely are they accurate and they are usually twisted to make whatever happened - more interesting.

I've been interviewed both on and off camera and made official statements to the press about things. When I get home I see the same news person on camera that I had talked to hours previously making up whatever she wanted.

Why do they do this? Because twisting the truth so close to being a lie makes people think that this news channel has inside sources that give them the best information in comparison to other news agencies. Some of them do, most of them do not and they feel like they need to make up for it.

Do not read some crap off craigslist or the onion and freak out, people. check multiple sources and use valid ones.

A freing of mine on the East coast swore up and down that the government was building huge concentration-like camps over there to put American people in. A freind in construction told her his company bid one of these projects.
Yes, the United States is looking to put us all in concentration camps.
I'm sure it won't be long before Faux News tells us this is true.

Yes, there is a Bill that at this moment would require me as a gun owner to be agreeable to unreasonable search and seizure of my home, my car, and my person, to submit a photo of myself, my social security number, and a registration fee for every gun I own. It would also legislate "child-safe" storage or alterations of my firearms.

Are criminals going to agree to such things? Are criminals going to register their guns, submit to search and seizure, and submit photos?

So who will the government really be tracking with this information?

Hate me all you want for not caring about gangs. They are losers and don't often give much back to society.
