I always love it when you go to see a band that is a little past their prime and the opener kills it and the headliner ends up being a let down.

Like the Allman bros opening for the Dead Remnants(more than a little past their prime).

And the Foo Fighters going nuts only to almost fall asleep during the Peppers.

Finally getting a truly free weekend, fending off work, the wife, relatives, friends, and being faced with choices such as:

A) Go with the boys on a ride over to Caldwell Idaho where it will be a cool 105 degrees.

or

B) Head west, get my wetsuit (finally) and be greeted with small, short period, waves.

B what kind of question is that.

My choices for the weekend.

A)go to Harry Potter with my sister-in-law's family then sit around for the rest of the weekend and listen to a 12 y.o. whine constately.

B) Get drug home by a coworker to hangout with her family and get to spend a day in DC. Though I will have to put up with her husband whining.

C) Peace and quiet and just stay in my hotel room the whole weekend.

I believe it is going to be B

After a long and somewhat stressful week of being forced into a promoted position sans raise, too many important meetings, sunburned eyes and deciding I will not have the time to take some fall classes I wanted to take.. My weekend will be spent working on the wife's car.

You Forgot to mention:

D) Rent a car, drive to the beach and surf your brains out.

You'll be rolling in those federal dollars soon enough to pay off some credit card debt.
