I did get a splint that you blow up with air so I'm going to heed his advice.

Seeing the cover of the new TSJ makes my heart sink. I know the place has been blown up and exploited but I've done my best to avoid the media hype. TSJ is the only surf rag I read and now it's smack in my face.

I had a magic few days here in 2001. Just stumbled onto it while in the area. Not big and grinding but perfect none the less. Didn't see another surfer except the friends I was with. I've never been back and probably never will be. But somehow, for me, it signals the unavoidable trend of discovery and exploitation that we are all so much a part of. Hopefully the place and the locals, surfers and non, are well respected, happy, and prosper.

What pisses me off...........
