No sh@t! Cousin Eddie is the best!
What's got me stoked this morning is that the pups let me sleep a solid 7 hours last night, my new coffee maker that grinds the beans for me, and what is really cool is for the first time in a very long time I am totally bummed I am not surfing today.

Getting back into the water after a long wait. I hope my arms won’t be too sore. Water was very dirty looking today. At least the water was semi warm.
Work less, surf more.

Is that short board going to get some action?

unfortunately the shortboard came from the yucky boy so it carries bad karma. it is for sale now at a central coast shop, and i'm looking for a new one. the shortest board in my quiver is the 7'1" i shaped this summer, so that has to suffice for now. currently jobless, i am too broke to buy another board until i sell the old one.

I'm stoked that it's been cold enough to freeze the epicenter cam image.

I'm stoked to have been able to surf mid-week. The stoke helped stretch my surf session to 3+ hours with old booties and gloves. I couldn't feel my fingers and toes by the end, but I felt alive; and that is what mattered most.
There is something magical in a frozen surf day.

being reminded that my english degree wasn't a waste of time & money when my son's report card tells me that the nightly reading aloud i've made him do since he was four has him exceeding grade level standards in reading/verbal/written skills. he's not bad in math either...
