Oregon did not lose to Ohio, Ohio beat them.
Oregon lost that game before they ever took the field.
Oregon's loss kicked me some needed points in the overall bowl pool.
I should be hovering around 2nd now since almost everyone else put big points on the Ducks.

Never bet out of emotion or sentiment suckers.

Oh..what pisses me off?

Not much today.
Which in itself pisses me off.

The terrorists are winning and the world is too stupid to notice.

yea, heres a mild example of that wilb,

...the DMV and the new "anti-terrorist" regs that have made my costa trip more expensive since they wont accept my towns birth certificate for me, even though they did when i got my license originally. now it must come from the "vital records" office so i have to wait for that, which puts me into the "needing an expedited or super expedited passport category",
which, may involve a drive to seattle if it doesnt arrive fast enough....

i knew bush would piss me off again and again, even after he's gone.

if it isn't something, its something else.

What's wrong Comrade, are you a terrorist? Good slaves never question loving, big brother.

I'd beg to differ Wilb, multi-national corporations, African/middle eastern despots, and banks are the ones really winning.

I stepped on the scale and it read 210.

A year and a half ago, I freaked because it said 202, and started running and slimmed down. Now I'm fatter.

At what point does the voting public in Oregon realize that the State is crying wolf?

Over and over again.

Every time the state needs money it's "the schools! the schools!"

Wouldn't you think that it would have been fixed by now?
Higher and higher taxes.
Regional and county taxes.
Lottery.

At what point do people wake up to the idea that the schools do not get the money, and that more money is NOT the answer, no matter where that money comes from, rich or poor.

And since when is $250K a year for a combined household considered "rich"?

The pro side of this ballot campaign is disgusting.

My favorite is the black woman saying something about how corporations are paying less in taxes than the amount of they charge in "one late fee".

You don't like late fees....pay on time like you agreed to do. Why is it the corporations fault for making money in the exact manner in which they spelled out for you that they would in the agreement or contract that you signed?

Hell I pay my bills, and every now and then I screw up and when the payment that is due on the 15th is paid on the 16th they charge me a late fee. My bad.

But this is the mindset that they are pandering to.

Eat the rich!
Blame the corporations!
It's their fault that I am not wealthy!
It's their fault I do not have a job!
It's not my fault that I bought a house that I could not afford!
It's not my fault I have debts I can't pay!

Blame "the rich" and the corporations and businesses.
It's their fault!

Right......

And the sick part is...it works.

I subsist on a little over 1/10th of $250K. I'm single and live in an expensive city and much of what I earn pays back student loans. So multiply by 3 for a family of four (yes, I know) and you get 75K per year. I consider myself to be middle class in terms of wealth. So, yes, 250K would be "Rich" in my book.

yahoo et al keep providing me with "better ways to connect".

I have enough ways to connect. I don't want more ways.

The Yahoo option I'd like to see added is "Please Disable all Social Networking Features Permanently...Forever".

Check this out then. It'd be cool if this became a consumer rights issue and consumers won.
