What pisses me off...........

This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. If you're a baby, complainer, or generally think you're right and everyone else is wrong this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE, all forum rules still apply, but just a little more liberally enforced. Registration is required.

Finally being able to walk without a crutch.
Then tripping over a stump in my friends yard and tearing all the tissue I built up. Now I'm back to three weeks ago. Crutch's suck.

Yeah, but stay away from the soy. Soy makes you angry about billboards with women on it and before you know it you're riding a bicycle all over the place screaming at cars.

At least meat keeps your testosterone around.

Living in a state that has such short sighted voters, at least by a narrow majority.

companies don't feel they are responsible for their communities. Afterall, this is a capitalist society. Why should they give a little of their money back into the system to help pay for roads, parks, healthcare, whatever?

Shouldn't all of that be fully on the individual tax paying families? Sure, corporations might have their company picnics at these parks we pay for and drive on the roads that we paid for...

If you own a company, you're in the business of taking as much money as possible from consumers and in return you offer as little as possible back.

The money we donated to the schools to help feed a growing number of children impacted by this economy? Gone.
The donations to homeless and displaced people? Gone.
Hungry? Go to the State. Need help getting a job? Go to the State. Heat turned off? Behind on your mortgage? Can't afford daycare to look for a job? Go to The State, 'cuz my checkbook is now closed.
