When it's small, rent a 9'6" log from Costa Azul. At The Rock last year. Still was quite fun at low tide except for having to dodge the reef rocks. I am too accustomed to beach breaks.

Mexico brofest '10. invited to a wedding of a couple friends in Troncones, Nash and myself get a week of shoulder to head and a half (plus+?) south swell. Pretty fun trip. I took pics of waves the last morning when it was at it's smallest and they turned out shitts. Oh well. Maybe Nash has some he can post.
ranch rights and lefts, troncones beach, saladita fishfests and couple other spots. nice and mellow mostly. only got a few urchin spines in my foot and didn't ding my board until the paddle in on the last surf of the trip.
oh, we saw dubstar lurking in the ranch parking lot too. he should be at Nexpa by now.
