Getting back into the gym after a 3 week hiatus.
Making perfect brown rice and ginger beef for dinner last night.
Stuffing myself on sushi tonight.
An evening in the garage.
Missing my wife, but getting to greet her after being gone for a few days.
Knowing my kid just might pass all of her classes.
Knowing she is getting geared up for another summer at NYC.
Realizing that my laziness in getting my garden started was probably a good thing.
Did I mention an evening in the garage?

saw a bobcat, found a bear track bigger than my hand, had some deer walk right up on me, walked through a marsh of skunk cabbage so big and deep I took off my pants and socks and shoes, balls deep in the mud. good times. With Mrs Stiffler living in PDX, I'm getting a lot more feral.

went to the Petty concert this weekend. There were probably 25 in our group. Nonstop party 7AM to 5AM fri and sat night.
Met up with a newer freind from a year ago, good to see him. Wife forgot the tickets, even though I asked as we left. She found a ticket, I didn't care anout to try. More beer in the sun.

Getting 15th out of 25 riders in my first road bike race in over 20 years. Did too much work in the front of the pack and didnt have enough juice left for the bunch sprint at the end. Fun to be racing again!
