Getting access to the old Coliseum thatre in Seattle...well...what's left of it anyway.

It was like entering a tomb.

Falling asleep tonight with the smell of PE resin in the air knowing I'll score some kind of glassy micro-surf early in the morning.

Fathers day was good. Got a black edition Wii with a few games and extras, a new big chrome BBQ and accessories, Upgade on my photo editing software and some other stuff. Kids 3rd B-day was Monday... she made out like a bandit. Buddy earned his MBA, threw a party.. that was ok, but his wife is about as screwed up in the head as you can be without having a mental retardation. She's pregnant too... I hope he had a prenup because I only see her getting worse.....

Finally hunting down the elusive Glock 23 (.40 S&W) LE package. Ended up upgrading to a compensated since the regulars are backordered til August but it was only $24 more. It was also cheaper than the other gun store. Tuesday I get my Concealed permit. Now to order my holster and laser sight. Finally going to get it after wanting it for a year. Image

Using the BBQ for the second time in a week. Pork loin, vegetables and plums earlier and pizza today. My patio flowers are blooming also.

Gonna work some nice Overtime on Friday that will pay for my new purchase.

Finding a good sushi place nearby without having to go to Canada. Going shopping in CA on Monday though to pickup some pork steam buns and pinapple-coconut rolls. Asian bakeries have some really good stuff.

I wish they made pink carriers for my body armor plates, navy blue is not very feminine. Getting the Blackhawk Serpa Level II paddle holster. Thinking of a shoulder holster also so I can just wear a cardigan.

took my students to tour the Hull-Oakes sawmill outside Corvallis. it's the last operational steam-powered sawmill in the U.S. They can run up to 85' lengths, and over 6' diameter logs. It's like walking back in time... I'd throw up a few pics if I could, but alas, no home internet...

My garden has taken a beating, but besides a couple of rows of tomatoes needing new stock, and maybe a pepper plant or two...it looks like we are out of the woods.

Upgrading condition to 'gaurded'.

Though all 9 rows of corn have emergence, as does the squash rows, bean rows, and pea rows.

Should have started my cycle planting of the spinach and lettuc rows earlier though.....concerned about them.
