If I told you the surf was shite today, it really was. Just because you drove here doesn't make the bars all of a sudden magical or even good. Your standards are increasingly dropping with the continuation of west winds and north west swells, please jog your freakin memory for what "good" is. One wave by one surfer longer than 25' in 90 minutes does not an epic session make.

Sorry there is shite I can do about it, so quit f ucking asking me if it's going to get better, I REALLY DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA!

Despite the apparently terrible NoCo surf...
There were some pretty fun and solid waves on Friday...
It wasn't perfect but it was pretty good...
And it wasn't gray, it was hot & sunny...
I've actually had a pretty decent run the last couple weeks.

Doc's right, Friday on the North Coast was fun. Sunny, solid enough, and offshore. Saturday sucked.

I've got to back Doc and Roner also. Morning LT on Friday was super fun. Reeling lefts at you/me/he/she and everyone else knows where. I mean fun is relative- super fun is even more subjective but its out there. Maybe not if you're sitting in despair at Chinook Lane or the Peilcan parking lot but you know, for us smuggling mortals, there have been some waves.

...There again, maybe, I'm not surfing, maybe I'm on the same drugs as Doc. I mean FOTH is the local, we're just know-nothing vals. He's probably right... the whole Oregon Coast is one big PC- surf's been cancelled... nothing to see... move on to the Dew Tour... fingers crossed for early opening at Meadows right?

Sounds like the coastal dwellers are playing a good game reverse psychology. There have been waves here and there. The sand bars are working. And 100’s if not 1000’s have been getting um. Just no real time motivation or need to blab about it on the OSP.
