Ha, that says a lot.

I agree the OSP is broken, but I still read what little is posted. I don't really care that it's broken. I don't really care why. Whatever.

BTW, I surfed on Saturday at a spot I hadn't been to in a while. I saw a couple of the Bay City Rollers. I had a friendly chat with I guy I hadn't met before.
It was fun. I had two decent waves.
Not epic.
Not even good really.
But fun.

I'm thinking about sporting a set of these...
With the 'sans hood" wetsuit of course...
Add a neoprene scarf...
And with a solid neckbeard...
Should be enuf to ward off the chill.

On second thought, this place may be broken because you are all a bunch of tools.
Wit the exception of Doc and (at times) SoLost, the rest of you are probably non-contributing zeroes lost in your own delusions.

I could be wrong though.

Holdy is about the only one here that is truly Core!TM.

Not broken, just the ebb and flow of posts.

I enjoy all the regular posters here.
I like the reports, the lies, the aggression, the opinions on boards, the introductions and the background stories.

At the end of the day, this little forum is what we all contribute to it. I remember starting the Next Gen section and feel like I should be contributing more to it.

I admit that I have taken the regular posters for granted. I always expect wilbur, wanty, doc, bluesilver, betty, nm,quadhead, warchild to post some provocative threads. If that all went away, I would be bummed.

So, anyway, if we care, we have to take some responsibility to keep this thing alive and it isnt just one of us. 2011 you will hear more from me...if anyone really cares =)

Fish was the muse.
My dog could tell immediatly first time she met him. As a matter of fact she still asks about him. Find Fish bring him back alive.
All ya gotta do is ask for it.

i thought for sure this was going to be a post about the epicenter. i don't want to encourage details, but what the hell is going on there?
as for the board, i don't think its broken, it's just struggling with middle-age. things aren't fresh and new anymore, so it doesn't seem as exciting. try posting in new positions.

I just got back from my year and a half retirement party in San Clemente. What did I miss?

I stopped logging on as much after I realized you guys all give me boners and with that, guilt.
The service here sucks.

Its being taken over by insta locals and people with out of town money buying up everything making it hard to live there unless you are a trust fund baby. Much like it has been for the last 15+ years.

Nothing stays the same...
That's the only constant...
Yet today is more like any other day...

Pretty deep, huh?

True, except for the wages.... they seem to have stayed the same.

I got an adult job, moved practially to Canada where I can see saltwater from my office window yet am hours away from surf, work 6 days straight for "the Man" and when I do have some time off it is always fully booked up with my family or boyfriend. Best it gets these days is kayaking in The Sound. Plus Facebook has taken over the time that I used to spend on here.
