Name's Aaron, I'm in SW and pretty brand new. Been out to Oswald three times or something like that. Looking to make a regular thing of it, and see what else the coast has to offer. Will split gas. Let's make something happen one of these Saturdays or Sundays.

Define Central coast...
Not that you have to.

Hello OSP

My name is Sylas but my friends call me Spent. Don't ask. Anyway, I gave surfing a good go for two whole years. The two years I surfed, surfing was still pretty relevant and cuttting edge but now I've moved on. Its just not that exciting of a sport anymore. Too many kooks trying to ride like Slater. They just need to chill and shape their own boards with some float and enjoy the vibe. 'Dudes,' completely missing the essence of what it is to be a surfer.

Where's the cyclo-cross forum anyway? I'm thinking of moving from Corvallis to Portland to start a frame-building business or perhaps a coffee roasting operation. Thoughts? Thinking about SUPing on the Willamette also. Might be something cool to do when the snow season finally ends. Wow, what a season, eh?! I've been waist deep in pow for weeks on end. So rad. Really, just like surfing, if you think about it. Go on, think about it. You probably missed out. Unlucky for you.

Anyway, I thought I better introduce myself as I just ordered a hand-plane from Thalia surf and a new Matuse wetsuit, so I'll probably need the occasional ride to Short sands or Seaside from NE Portland.

Can anyone reccomend a neighbourhood that was once ghetto and occupied by minorities but was cleaned up by young white artist types and has now been made completely safe and sanitary by white families from California loooking to buy first homes ? Be nice if there were a few Blacks and Mexicans still there, just to keep it a little bit real.

If you don't like good music and good coffee, don't bother PMing me to offer me a ride.

Duc----Central Coast as in Cambria. There is no Cambria in OR. Closest thing would be Arcadia. -- SoLow------Who are you referring to with regard to barsetting Bro? Meaning ; Your beer is on the bar and you are slipping below bar level? Or meaning you will never acheive said"bar"? He -Haw

Why would you do that?

That's like cold water bucolic paradise in my book...... been looking for a job in SLO county for like 10 years now.

And you thought it was fickle down there.... good luck up here........ at least you didnt move to the valley or Porkland.

I'd remind you we were there first...
Then all you f'ers showed up looking for gold...
And I had to head north...
Now here you are...
