beat my last 5k time by 45 sec/mile and won the women's masters division! woohoo. this was a very hilly course so i was pleasantly surprised by my time.

ankle is getting better and better. the pounding on the road is doing it good.
i figured things could not get any worse, so gave running a try. and it worked!

Caught my first springer.
Not big, barely above a jack, but man...it was great.
There is no replicating the colors of a fresh Chinook Salmon.

But then the motor went out....

Saw a double get picked up by another boat as we paddled back to the ramp...being overtaken by a Dragon Boat.

I tried to get my buddy to row just a couple of knotts faster so I could get a better spin on my threaded herring as we oared back....no go...
