Wrongboarded til 730 pm...
I love summer...
Hardly anyone can surf...
The rest try to ride shortboards....
Plenty of fun little waves in the afternoon sun.

Rode a 5'7" longboard yesterday into glassy peelers as I urinated on my hands to keep warm.
There were dudes on 9'4" shortboards but they couldn't catch an STD if their lives depended on it.

Catching waves and freezing is fun.

Charged miniature waves today at the epicenter...
Country Honk was dominating and intimidating on his pink log...
Whereas I kept the peace with 9 foot 8 inches of leashless singlefinned greenness...
To be perfectly honest, by all appearances...
Surfing has really bit the dust of late...
However, I am still in the groove and...
Likey, Likey.

Got down to CB right before the wind hit yesterday. Thought I would check Arcadia really quick, it was ok but within 30 minutues the NW wind picked up and made it go to hell.

Ended up at SS picking of micro peaks till 8:00 last night.

It was small but I still had fun out there.

Jellies at SS yesterday morning.

There were also small, clean south swell lines.

Hope no one got stung and everyone got some.

Low expectations on Friday...
No real pay off perse...
Just piles of knee to thigh high waves...
No leash, sunshine & beer on the beach.

Paddled in the Puget Sound yesterday...(kayak)
Hope Island circumnavigation...
It was fun listening to the kayak rental girl...
Trying to dissuade 2 peeps from going out...
"It's windy, it's choppy, lots of boat traffic"
And my personal favorite...
"You WON't have any fun!"...
Well, we went (we had our own boats)...
It was a little windy, a little choppy...
Hardly any boat traffic...
And we had some fun...
Oh, and saw some big jellies.

3 @ 15 at an open north coast beachie was a pleasant surprise. Sets were head high with solid shape and push.

As I paddled out i kinda wished I wasn't on my 9' noserider sans leash. I reminded myself that you ride the board
you bring to the beach and make the best of it. After 3 hours and 4 swims to the beach due to committed nose rides into
the sand dredging shore barrels I was happy to be on an LB. Perfect way to end the weekend.
