I would have to agree on SD, just got three days down there, they get sun and waves year round, really a mellow bunch of surfers.

RE Shapers- have been getting custom local WA/OR shaped boards for the past 15 years but on my last trip to Costa Rica met some guys riding Oak Foils boards. Wayne Okamoto (CA) used to ghost shape for Al Merrick back in the day but now only does custom work. The last four boards I have gotten are from him are absolutely sick.

Hey. I recently moved from the East Coast, NY/NJ area.

Getting skunked after driving 1.5 hrs from Portland sucks.

If anyone is interested in sharing rides and the responsibility for correctly deciphering the forecasts, let me know.

Surfing Highlight When Not Actually Surfing: Saw Slater and Taj compete in the quarter finals at the only QuickPro on Long Island. Just ridiculous.

Seaside. It was a mess. Indian was cleaner but breaking waaaaay out and I would have been solo.

Have had several successful missions to Shorties and I want to expand my horizons.

Well, you pretty much named the majority of "well-known" spots north of Tillamook. 'Horizon expanding' at this point will probably require more than an OSP post. Good luck...

Yeah, not expecting any free intel. Hell if I ever gave any out.

Anyway, if anyone out there wants to share rides from Portland I'm motivated and have a flexible schedule.

You are now on the FBI's most wanted list for being a spot namer. Just stay away from The Point. LOL
