You got some good points. I take it back, I dont think oregon will ever catch up with down there for the exact reasons you specified.
But the surfing world is growing at a sickly pace and we all might have a surf shortage someday.

Sorry, back to the yakers. They do have a contest here! They have it at PC. Maybe even more than once a year.
Its pretty funny to watch, well so far since the surf hasnt been so good. Sat and watched them with my friend as we drank way to many brews from the pub. Come to think of it, maybe thats why it was fun to watch.
Never mind, it is boring, the beer was fun!

Those kooks (96%of kyjacker) took over The Lane a couple time while I lived there. One even tried to paddle his boat over to the Point when it was on. He was quick and viciosly repeled.ISNT THERE SOME MARITIME BOATING LAW THAT SAYS YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR BOAT A CERTAIN DISTANCE AWAY FROM SWIMMERS ????? Where is a cop when you need one???

As much as I despise violence in the water, there is something undeniably entertaining to me, to visualize a Yaker getting fiercely ejected at Pleasure Point. Surfed it for 5 months and I have never competed as seriously for rides. It was routine to have 70 surfers in the water around me and 20 or so "Skilled" on the peak.
All ya gotta do is ask for it.

BOSS, The LANE. The Lane. P.P. is not on the West Side. Different but the same. I never had the need to spend much time on the east side. Like you said "80%" kooks." Different set of rules. Dont like the "rules"???, then go play by/with yourself.

Chillllllllllllll T-Dawg.......I know which point your talking of. I was simply making a reference to MY point, Eastside. I avoided Westside like a leper colony, seriously bent folks over there. Wasnt even worth the effort, I liked the wave at the hook much better anyway.
