What are you listening to right now?

Yes, this is a surfpage, but many of us like to discuss non-surf related issues amongst fellow surfers. Here's the place to do it. Registration is required.

Freckles....Been Caught Stealing? How cliche'....

Dub Star wrote:Funny because I happened to listen to Jane’s Addiction, Ritual de lo Habitual on my way yesterday and forgot how sick that album was and how great it is for getting amped for a good surf. Brought back memories of Northern Florida beach breaks, smoking krippy, and dreads.

Absolute best PF album of his junkie life!

Three Days is in my top 10 of all time list.

Dub...Norther Florida? Did I know this and just forgot? WTF? Where at?

On a current note, came home after my usual 11 hours. Turned on this idiot box. Hit play on the cd player over my desk and got busy marinating chicken breasts.

Took me a few minutes to realize I was listening to Panic at the Disco.

Took me a few more moments to realize I was tapping my foot to it.

I immediately broke the CD and threw the halves into my kids room.

I love these kind of threads. It is like "What is teh most obscure and ultra-hip band I can come up with?"

Ever notice how most do not listen to "ordinary" music?

Yeah Wilbs, may never have divulged this info, really I forgot I lived there till last night :D

Like Johnny Cash sang "I've been everywhere man, I've been everywhere"

Left home at 17 and lived in Jax Beach. 90 & 91 while going to school at JU. Surfed Mayport Poles all the dam time as with everything from there to the inlet. So been there done that. It was fun while it lasted, but moved out here for something different, to snowboard, and to get away from the East Coast. I've never left the WC and probably never will.

Righteous, I never surfed Jax, though I still check the cam and report there all the time.

I am certain we surfed the same spots, however at that time I was surfing in Oregon, and then moved to Miami for a bit before coming back up here in '93.

Hey Wilbur,

Is "go f@ck yourself" on the menu this evening?

I highly recommend it!

Sit down, got your best wife beater on? OK, I really meant to say Bachman Turner Overdrive. Happy?

BTO is a bit high brow for a good wife beater.

I suggest some Supertramp...and a Camaro...near a lake.

Cut off jeans please.

Dukes of Stratosphere are not Obscure by the way. THey were big big big in the 80's man! Superband big! And definately not hip. Quite gay actually.

I did, however, just hear then on NRK. Tres weird! ha ha ha

I've been waiting to use this since it's inception last night by the way and the reception sucked. I'm removing all those pats on the back I gave myself.
