Then I kind of dinked around doing some 50's for about 600 or so.
I grabbed two 10 lb. diving bricks for a little something I've been thinking about.
I started with 30 sec. vertical flutter kick elbows at the surface and then dove down and held onto the bricks on the bottom for as long as I could. I was averaging 20-25 seconds underwater.
Modified it: Treading water with one brick in each hand. Each minute I would "rest" and sink to the bottom for as long as I could handle. First time was about 10 seconds. Two minutes into it I was wondering how long I could last. After about 10 minutes of continuous time with the bricks I was able to get my "resting" time up to 20 seconds.
