Surfing is essentially comprised of three components: the elements (wave, wind, etc), the board, and you. Only the board is clearly definable. Finding a custom shaper who can "define" the optimal shape relative to your needs and surfing style is a dream come true. Fortunately, the Pacific Northwest is blessed with some incredible shaping talent. Some more famous than others, but all pour their heart and soul in to the craft.

Who ya gonna call?

While not an exhaustive list, this should get you started in your qwest for a locally-made custom board.
